South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit Course - SC CWP This course is designed to introduce individuals to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning, carrying and using a pistol safely. This course will provide you with the laws for South Carolina, basic weapons nomenclature and the fundamentals of safe shooting and provide the student with the required training to apply for a South Carolina CWP.  ***ACTIVE/FORMER/RETIRED MILITARY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT***You are exempt from part of this training per SC law with proper documentation.  

 REQUIREMENTS 1. You must have a belt or holster.  2. You must have a gun  (if you do not own a firearm, we do have rentals available for an additional fee). 3. You must have eye and ear protection ( we do have rentals available) *Note: sunglasses are not considered eye protection*. 4. You must have 50 rounds of ammunition. We can sell to you the day of or before the class. 5. You must be 21 years of age or older to obtain a concealed weapon permit, although 18-20 year old students can still attend this class and submit application upon 21st birthday. 6. All firearms entering our facility must be unloaded/cleared and cased or bagged.
